What is included in the glamping site?
The site includes a furnished tent with beds, linens, lamps, heating & AC, a mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, hammocks, a charcoal grill, fire pit, and a picnic table.
Does the tent have AC and heat?
Our tents come with AC and heating to enhance your comfort, but remember, they're canvas-walled. The climate control moderates temperatures but can't replicate home insulation. Keep tents closed in heat to stay cool, open at night for a breeze, and layer up in cold months. Enjoy nature with a touch of comfort!
Are there bathrooms?
The path to access the restrooms and showers is found beside sites #22. There are no bathrooms inside of the tents.
What should I bring?
Remember to pack comfortable clothing, both beach and bath towels, food and cooking supplies, drinks, and your favorite people! Don't forget essentials like matches, charcoal, flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, a good book, games, and hiking shoes. Firewood and fire starters can be pre-ordered from us for convenience, or you may bring your own. Enjoy your stay!
Can additional tents be pitched on the site?
Yes, with prior approval. In most cases a small tent for kids to have the “full” camping experience is permitted on the gravel area adjacent to the tent. However, large multi-room tents will most likely not be allowed.
Is glamping still camping?
Yes, glamping is camping redefined with added comforts and luxuries. While you enjoy the great outdoors and activities typical of traditional camping, our tents offer enhancements like comfortable bedding and climate control to moderate temperatures, blending the natural charm of camping with modern conveniences. However, remember our accommodations have canvas exteriors; the climate control—AC in summer and heating in winter—is designed to make your stay comfortable but won’t replicate the indoor environment of a home. We suggest keeping tents closed during hot days and open at night to embrace the breeze, and wearing warm clothing in cooler seasons. This way, you experience the authenticity of camping with the added benefits of luxury, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable outdoor adventure.
What park rules should I be aware of?
Key rules include gate closing at sunset, quiet time from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., leashing and controlling pets, and zero allowance for collecting firewood.
What should I know about wildlife in the park?
Regarding wildlife in the park, please refrain from feeding or approaching animals. Ensure your food and trash are securely stored to prevent attracting wildlife. Stick to marked trails and avoid venturing into bushes or sea grape areas. While fire ants pose a common risk, snakes may also inhabit these spaces. Stay safe by observing these guidelines.
Do you allow pets?
We love our furry Glampers! Just add the $45 pet fee for each pet in the add-on section at checkout or send us an email letting us know ahead of time and we will get that added.
You may not leave your pet alone in the tents unless properly crated. You are financially responsible for any damage that is done to our accommodations by your pets.
Are smoking and open flames permitted?
Smoking is not permitted in or around the glampsites. Open flames, including candles, are prohibited inside tents due to fire risks. Fines apply for violations.
All fires must be contained to designated fire rings and charcoal grills only.
How does the weather affect my stay?
Our tents are equipped for rain, but we do not cancel for rain, wind, or thunderstorms. Consider purchasing travel protection for unforeseen cancellations.
Can I view a tent before booking?
For privacy and security, direct viewing of tents is not allowed. We do try to make sure all photos are not staged and are an accurate representation of the accommodation.
Can I purchase items from the tent?
Yes, items available in our online store can be purchased. Notify us, and we can charge them to your account.
What if I leave something behind?
Any item we find to have been left behind will be placed in Lost & Found and remain there for 14 days. On the 15th day, items are taken to our local donation center. If you left something behind, we are happy to mail the item back to you and charge the card on file for shipping and packaging (if needed).
Are your glamping sites accessible?
Accessibility ramps are available upon request for all sites. Specific sites (#22) offer greater accessibility features—accessible picnic table, paved driveway, and paved pathway to the bathhouse.
Is WIFI available?
WIFI is not available in our tents, but the use of your cell phone's hotspot feature has worked well for most service providers.
